Dum aloo special!

I deliberated long, may be an hour, in front of the refrigerator, then just closed it and picked up the little potatoes sitting outside the refrigerator.

Dum aloo today? Started looking for the perfect recipe, found one, and started the process - Hard work?

Recipe:

Boil the potatoes, grind a paste of onion, tomatoes, ginger, garlic and cashews, heat some oil in pan, add tejpatta, long, badi elaichi, saute the paste until it leaves oil, add 1.5 tbsp yogurt (should not be sour), add turmeric, Kashmiri Mirch, coriander powder, Garam masala and salt to taste, cook until gravy is done, fork the potatoes and add in the gravy and cook for some time, until the gravy is absorbed, garnish with Kasturi methi....hmmmmmmm...the aroma - and serve with hot khushk chapatis! Lovely!!
