Christmas cake - YourKitchenStory special recipe
Merry Christmas and Happy new year! If I don't share with you YourKitchenStory healthy Christmas cake recipe, it will be a sin! This is with richness of whole wheat, brown sugar and some garam masala, only a lil oil! An alcohol soaked fruit recipe won't work for my Te-totaller family, so worked on an instant recipe for you!
Without further ado, here is our recipe! There is still time, you can bake!
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1/4 cup maida
3/4 cup whole wheat flour (ata)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp cinammon sugar
A pinch of salt
1 tsp vanila essence
half banana pureed
dried mixed berries
Prunes (chopped)
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1/4 cup oil
1 tsp baking powder
1 pinch baking soda
3-4 tbsp milk
Method:
Without further ado, here is our recipe! There is still time, you can bake!

3-4 tbsp milk
Method:
- Beat eggs
- Add sugar and whisk well
- Add oil and mix
- Add pureed banana, vanila essence, cinammon sugar, garam masala, mix well
- Sieve maida, whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, fold in
- Coat the dried fruits in some whole wheat flour, mix in and add milk and give it the final whisk
- The batter is ready, Preheat oven at 180 degrees
- Pour the batter in a greased tin and bake at 180 degrees for 30 min
