A lil birthday surprise

It’s a lovely morning, and on ma’s walk towards the park, she crosses Kiran aunty’s home and finds her watering the plants. She’s looking bright as usual with a lovely glow on her face! 

My lil one  wants to play with Puginder today, Aunty’s lil pup and they go in and here’s some birthday cake! 

Well, Well! it’s her birthday! 

Happy birthday Kiran aunty!

Aunty’s an avid cook, a fitness enthusiast, a doting mother and wife, and a successful professional with Amway! We had been invited for dinner once and the yummy four course meal had just bowled us over!  And, we also got a pasta treat once – nog veg pasta for my hubby and veg pasta for me! It was simply awesome n finger licking!

What better day to celebrate love than a birthday. So, I had a lil word with uncle and he so fondly shared the beauty of her cooking! This is what he has to say:

“Her culinary skills range from yummy pies and puddings to toothsome paranthas. She is always experimenting and delighting us with new surprises. Everything she cooks comes out so tasty and delectable, filled with love and deliciousness.

You are the master chef, your cooking is unparalleled, Happy birthday Kiran! ”

So, what is his favorite? 

Well, uncle’s in love with her paranthas, falls for her (yet again) with every bite of it .

No doubt, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach :)

But it’s a secret recipe that he doesn’t know! So, I am not sharing the recipe today, stay tuned, will share it soon…will have to take it from the birthday girl!

But here’s a tip that Aunty gave me earlier for making super soft yummy paranthas, especially if you make it for kids!

 Dab in desi ghee liberally  when you roll the dough, it’ll stay soft and gooey!
